Joint Effort Farms is a cooperative built around a highly successful group of collective farming businessman, who will train skilled and semi-skilled staff in the advanced hydroponics and organic farming sectors. The project aim is  high turnover production from a small area, while providing work and leadership experience for local cooperative members.

The company will combine cutting edge, hydroponic farming technology and efficient, high-density production facilities. It is committed to reduction of cost with the improvement of taste, quality and nutritional value in vegetables. The company will provide education, experience and research in the fields of advanced high density farming. It will benefit from the experience and extensive knowledge of well-known growers as resident consultants and experts.

This project will consist of several combined technologies from the leading companies in the field of High Efficient Hydroponics,  L.E.D. Lighting, Nutrient Development and Established Genetic Banks. We will install several types of high density aeroponic, fogponic- hydroponics system for plant growth, which will be illuminated by LED lighting to reduce energy costs. In our first year, we will also erect a Vertical Algae Technology (VAT) curtain grow system for biodiesel production.

Our mission as a cooperative is to provide alternative methods of growing to local farmers and members. Our goal is to provide public awareness of our experimental farming results in public logs to be shared amongst cooperatives and farmers. We operate strictly as a California Consumer Cooperative, whereby we are a democratically controlled ownershare company. Our products are available for purchase by members at a cost plus basis. We operate as a non profit and provide repatronage to our members at the close of each fiscal year.
